These terms apply to use of LakeCountryRetreat.com and direct reservations for Lake Country Retreat. Reservation-specific rates, fees, cancellation terms and other conditions presented during checkout form part of the booking agreement.

Reservations

A reservation is confirmed only after the booking process is completed and confirmation is issued. The person making the reservation is responsible for providing accurate information and for the conduct of all guests included in the stay.

Occupancy

The retreat accommodates a maximum of eight guests. Only guests included in the reservation may occupy the property unless prior approval is provided.

Property setup

The rental is the private ground-level guest suite, together with the designated private backyard and hot tub. The host occupies the separate residence upstairs. Normal household sounds may occasionally be audible between living spaces.

Payments, cancellations and refunds

Rates, payment schedules, cancellation conditions and refund eligibility are shown during the booking process and in the reservation confirmation. Where a booking platform is used, applicable platform terms may also apply.

Guest responsibilities

Guests are expected to treat the property, furnishings and amenities with reasonable care, follow posted safety instructions and house rules, and avoid activity that creates unreasonable disturbance or damage.

Hot tub and outdoor areas

Use of the hot tub and outdoor areas is at guests’ own risk. Children must be appropriately supervised. Guests should follow all posted instructions and avoid glass or unsafe behaviour in and around the hot tub.

Availability and website information

We aim to keep descriptions, availability and other website information accurate. Availability is not guaranteed until a reservation is confirmed. Travel times are approximate and may vary with traffic, weather and road conditions.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version applicable to a confirmed reservation is the version provided or referenced when the reservation is made, unless a change is required by law.
